Child Psychoeducational Assessment - 6 years to 16 years.

Where an assessment is required for an individual's learning ability, their learning strengths and weaknesses, and if the individual has any specific learning difficulty (such as Dyslexia, etc).

Diagnostic Assessment for an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
|
Where there is a concern about an individual's communication, socialisation and behaviours, the diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder may be considered (e.g. Autism, Asperger's, etc ).

Developmental history from parent (if adult).
Semi structured interview with parent or significant carer to elicit the presence of certain behaviours and symptoms associated with ASD. With adults this is completed with the client but the assessment is assisted by the attendance of a relative that knows the person's developmental history.
Cognitive assessment of child/adult to estimate learning ability.
Completion of psychometrics by parent/self and educational staff (children only).
Review of documentation supplied by parents and/or referrer (professional reports, school reports, etc).
Administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (play-based assessment).

€1600.00 for adults (17 years upwards)
Appointments will be split across two appointments. The first with the child and parent/s present. (child assessments) The second appointment with parents only (child appointments only). For adult assessments, the client is asked to bring a family member to the second appointment.
For Combined ASD and ADHD assessment the fee for Children (up to 16 years) is €1800 and for Adults is €2000.

| ASD Review |
A comprehensive review for those individuals that have already received a diagnosis of ASD (Autism, Aspergers, etc). This looks at needs and strengths of the individual.

Administration of a range of psychometrics, choice depending on age and concerns.
Clinical interview.
Review of other reports/documentation.
Provision of report.

A comprehensive assessment of an individual (child or adult) |
Administration of a range of psychometrics, depending on age of individual.
Clinical interview.
Assessment of learning ability and literacy/numeracy to identify cognitive profile and whether there is any additional learning needs, such as dyslexia, etc.
Adaptive functioning assessment - to look at what a person is able to do, day-to-day, and what supports are required.
ADOS or social skills assessment, depending on whether diagnosis has been made previously.

€2400.00 for adults (17 years upwards)
This assessment is completed over three appointments, unless person is travelling long-distance and scheduled for the whole day, with breaks.
For Combined Comprehensive ASD and ADHD assessment the fee for children (up to 16 years) is €2400 and for Adults is €2700.
